How to prepare for an interview

An interview will take 30-45 minutes to discuss the following points:

• A 20-minute power point presentation: plan on 5-10 minutes of overview of your CV and 10 minutes of technical details of one research project you are most proud of
• A discussion on your expertise: please provide a list of courses followed at bachelor and graduate levels
• A general discussion about the project goals and scope
• The main purpose of the presentation is to judge the following:
  • Ability to present in an organized fashion
  • Ability to speak clearly in English
  • Ability to convey technical details important to a concept
  • Ability to respond to technical questions
  • Ability to respect time constraints
  • Appreciation of breadth of your training
  • Appreciation of depth of your training
